Jassi and her husband, Mithu, were out for an evening ride on their scooter when they realize they are being followed by a white car. Suddenly, 4 men get out of the car, attack Mithu, and leave him on the side of the road thinking he’s dead. The men abduct Jassi, bring her to an abandoned farmhouse, tie her to a chair, and tell her Mithu is dead. Jassi pleads for her life, but she’s beaten and strangled. Her throat is slit, and her body is dumped in an irrigation canal. Jassi told people that one day there would be a movie made about her life. Little did she realize, several movies would be made about not only her life but her tragic “honour killing”. On June 13, 1901, Ada Redpath and her son, Cliff Redpath, were shot to death in their home in Montreal’s affluent Square Mile district. Police weren’t called, there wasn’t an investigation, only a coroners inquest with a verdict that’s unsatisfying to say the least. To this day, everyone from armchair sleuths to historians wonder what truly happened in the Redpath mansion that fateful day. Today, we know this case as “The Redpath Mansion Murders”, but, to many, “The Redpath Mansion Murder Mystery” is a more accurate title. This is a story about class and generational wealth and prominence. A story about a family in high society surrounded by loyalties and tensions, so let’s dive in and figure out this turn of the 20th century whodunit.   Please rate, review, and subscribe wherever you're listening! ♥ Buy Us A Coffee ♥ Buy A Patch ♥ Follow And Message Us On Instagram ♥ Email Us Some Dark Love

It’s been nearly 17 months since a 24-year-old geologist named Daniel Robinson disappeared. Daniel was last seen abruptly leaving his job site north of Buckeye, Arizona on June 23, 2021, between 9:30 and 10 in the morning. He apparently headed into a remote desert area in his 2017 blue-gray Jeep Renegade and was never seen again. 1967 was a year many will not soon forget. An alarming spike in unexplained UFO sightings turns small communities across Canada on their heads. Experts from across the country and abroad swarm to the remote regions to try and explain the unexplainable. This episode, we explore the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) known as the Falcon Lake and Shag Harbour Incidents that would go down in infamy and become enshrined in the stranger chapters of Canada's history.

On October 31, 2010, Devon Griffin wondered where his family was. Devon went to check on his mom and stepdad, but they were still in bed with the comforter pulled up over their heads. Devon started talking to wake his mom. He walked around to her side of the bed, saw her foot sticking out of the comforter, and tapped her leg to rouse her, but there was no response. Devon continued talking to his mother, as he pulled the covers down a bit, before stopping – her pillow was soaked with red liquid – it looked like blood. Confused, he wondered if this was a messed-up Halloween prank. It wasn’t. His mother and stepfather were truly covered in blood. He was scared and he started to cry. In his panicked state, he ran out of the house for help, not thinking to check on his brother upstairs, but that was probably for the best, as the scene in his room was even more gruesome…

It’s Halloween night in 1957. Betty and Peter Fabiano had turned out the lights in their home in Sun Valley, California. They had just gotten comfy in bed when they heard the doorbell ring. It was past 11 p.m., and they hadn’t had trick-or-treaters in hours. They probably looked at each other, debating who would go answer the door, when the doorbell rang again. Betty watched as Peter got out of bed and headed down the stairs. She heard him answer the door saying, “Yes? Isn’t it kind of late for this sort of thing?” She couldn’t make out the response of the person at the door – she just heard a strange voice that sounded to her like a woman impersonating a man. Suddenly, she heard a pop, then a thump, then silence. As she hurried downstairs to see what was happening, she heard a car outside speed off into the night, the screeching tires faded into the screech of her own terrified screams as she looked down at Peter, who was sprawled out on the floor, unconscious, with blood pouring out of his chest…
